In Therapy, I use an integrative approach which means that I can be more attuned to your needs and adapt to your learning style more effectively.

I mainly draw on methods and tools from: Person Centred counselling, Mindfulness approaches and meditation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

What does working with me feel like?

Accepted

You are welcomed as you are. We discover patterns and make changes together. It’s not about fixing you because you are not broken

Listened to

What you are going through deserves to be heard without judgement.

Guided

Together we work towards your goals. Some people know immediately what they want to work on, others aren’t so sure and some have many.
Either way we collaborate by defining them, making them more practical and accessible.

Safe

I provide a confidential space where you can safely share your thoughts, feelings, opinions, fears, desires, dreams or hopes. A safe space of self exploration and discovery.

Person centred counselling

I would say is a method that my work hinges on.
It focuses on how you view yourself rather than any of my interpretations.
While I am honest and straightforward when necessary, I always try to listen from a perspective of not knowing.
It allows me to hold a space of full presence that is non judgemental with empathic understanding.

Mindfulness

The reason that mindfulness is a buzz word nowadays is simply because it really works!
Injecting these practices as part of our daily routine helps us gain space/distance between what’s happening around us and who we truly are.
It can become one of the tools you can apply to help maintain balance in a world that seems so unstable.

Acceptance and Commitment therapy

helps develop psychological flexibility. Using this approach I teach you how to deal with your thoughts, feelings and external stressors that can be overwhelming and leave you feeling out of control.
We also explore personal values and how to maintain behaviours and align our choices based on them.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

provides a wide range of practical tools and techniques that permit us to recognise and explore thoughts, assumptions, patterned behaviours and emotional reactions to triggers.

You don't have to go through it alone.

We will work together to better understand and learn what is needed to make real change and start healing.
